Today is 2008/01/24.  This is Toga II 3.1.2SE for Pocketgrandmaster.
This engine will run on Pocket PCs with StrongARM/XScale processors.

Toga II 3.1.2SE for Pocketgrandmaster is a engine for the Pocket PC program
Pocketgrandmaster, which is available at www.pocketgrandmaster.com.
Pocketgrandmaster ist shareware. Please notice that this engine will not
work with the light version of Pocketgrandmaster.

If you need Toga as an engine for the Desktop PC, please have
a look at http://www.superchessengine.com/.

This distribution comes up with the engine and the source code.


Installation
------------

To install Toga 3.1.2SE for Pocketgrandmaster just copy the file TogaII312SE.pge
to your Pocket PC and move the TogaII312SE.pge file to your Pocketgrandmaster folder.
In Pocketgrandmaster you should then see the Toga II 3.1.2SE engine in the engine 
list box.

Engine book
-----------

Toga II 3.1.2SE will use the book file book_small.bin if available in the
"My Documents" folder. Please set "Opening book" in the engine options
to "Best move", "Good move" or "Random" to make the engine using the book.
Uncheck "GUI plays bookmoves". There is no difference between "Best move",
"Good move" and "Random".
In the upcoming Pocketgrandmaster version 3.0 you can select different 
books for Toga. The book has to be in the bin format. Just choose
"select book" from the Pocketgrandmaster menu and select the engine book.

2005/12/08 Toga II 1.1 for Pocketgrandmaster, first stable release
2005/12/30 Toga II 1.1a for Pocketgrandmaster. Fixed some bugs with
           wrong values for default UCI settings. Code now based on
           Toga II 1.1a.
2006/11/18 Toga II 1.2.1a for Pocketgrandmaster
2008/01/24 Toga II 3.1.2SE for Pocketgrandmaster
